near-infrared first attempt

Okay, so i need an IR filter.  Supposedly, I should be able to make one with a floppy disc though it might be a little too technical for me.  Here is what i was able to achieve without an IR filter.

Of course, I do all the decorating.  He just dumps his stuff in the middle of the room and may or may not let me know it is there waiting to be put away. For some reason, he seems to think a shark plushie belongs in a bookshelf. Go figure.

EQII Houses Part 1

As I mentioned earlier there would likely be gaming posts on occasion.  Today, my friends, is one of those occasions.  Everquest II (another MMO) lets players decorate houses and guild halls with stuff either found, made or bought.  I have two houses in this game and have been told by other players I should take screenshots of my decorating and add them to the game’s forums.  While I am not going to do that, I am going to show them here.

First up is my mansion in South Qeynos.

Near-infrared photos

Browsing Smashing magazine I came across near-infrared photography.  I am definitely going to be trying this.  Fancy seeing more near-infrared photos? A lovely selection can be found, again, at Smashing magazine.

Redesign done

I just finished the redesign of pinkpixeldesign.com.  It is now live.  It’s a snazzy little site (of course, it’s mine).  All graphics, xhtml, css was done by yours truly.  The javascript is Lightbox2.

My Sweetpea

I have been searching online for some time now for an image of my first bike with no luck.  It had the name sweetpea printed on  (I think) the chain guard and the seat.  The bike itself, if i remember correctly, was light green with possibly yellow or pink.  There may have been flowers on the seat.  While doing all this searching I came across probably the prettiest bikes ever. Coincidentally, called Sweetpea.
